I bought two of these for two outdoor flash cameras. They've been connected for about 3 months in a row and I haven't had a single problem. I've read that the included adapter doesn't provide enough power, but I can't confirm that as I've connected both to Apple 10w boxes because I had extras. I can confirm that the 10w bricks take care of them well. I would also advise leaving the batteries that come with the flash cameras in the cameras. They don't use electricity while the adapter is powering the cameras, and if you have a storm and a power outage, these batteries will do.
