Exact replacement costing pennies like BMW

I had a xenon headlight that stopped flickering slightly and stopped working at all. I replaced the lightbulbs first as they were almost 15 years old and never changed. New bulbs and still not working on one side so according to various BMW forums the next step was to change the ballast. Some were delivered quickly. Installation was easy, but since my model has headlight washers, it was a bit more difficult to remove the headlight to change the ballast. After changing the ballast and reinstalling the lights, everything worked great and my xenons are nice and bright again.
