Great for mixing resin!

OVERVIEW CUPS FOR CRAFTS - REMEMBER! I bought these to mix two phase epoxy and I can tell you they are great! They have very few protrusions or notches for the mixed resin to escape through, or worse, only a portion of the resin resulting in the end product not curing. In addition, due to their smooth sides, they helped reduce blisters. They are very flexible, allowing them to bend into a nice little spout when pouring resin into a mold. In terms of cost, they throw small epoxy mixing 'kits' out of the water (3 cups and a popsicle) that you can buy for $3-6 in Michael's or Hobbies Lobby, and given the huge amount you get when ordering, they last for a whole year. very long time. PROS: Cheap, reduces bubbles and epoxy waste with smooth sides, malleable for casting (I haven't had a crack yet!), can be cleaned and reused, but is still cheap enough to throw away. CONS: The only change that would make them perfect is to add some ink to the graduation markings to make them a bit more visible, but instead of using a popsicle stick to mix the resin, try a flexible mini spatula like one the spatula and palette knife from Solabela Painter. Set of 5 This way there are no air bubbles from the resin filling the cracks in the wood! In addition, the flexible metal makes it easy to separate the resin after drying for reuse. You can get them in a set or for $2 in the Hobby Lobby :) *** Was this review helpful to you? Hopefully! Let me know if you have any questions using the comments section below ***
