They are well made and wash well. But I've never seen a washcloth that couldn't be put in the dryer at even the lowest temperature. Instructions say "DO NOT PLACE IN DRYER" - LINE DRY ONLY. I bought these to clean rags in the kitchen - I use all purpose bleach to keep everything clean and sanitized. Since all my kitchen towels and tea towels are RED, using them for this purpose is out of the question. I put them in the dryer on a gentle cycle which basically heats up very little and they SHRINK. It cannot be 100% cotton. Now I put them on medium along with the other cleaning wipes and that's it.
