I have a favorite shabby chair, it must be 20 years old. Everything is fine with the chair, only the cover is torn and dirty. The kids wanted me to throw it away. I was thinking about doing a custom cover and the woman wanted to charge me $500! That's more than I paid for the chair. So I decided let me try this inexpensive case. You know what? Looks like a new chair, I'm sooooo happy! If I have a minute I'll buy one for an old shabby sofa! It took me a second to figure out how to put it on properly, but once I put it on a chair it looks and feels really good. It's a type of fabric that seems to attract lint. So if I had a pet that sheds it might not be that great, FYI, although it seems to brush off easily.
