Review on Enhance Your Connectivity with Netgear MA101 802.11b Wireless USB Adapter by Scott Koeck

Adapter works fine on Windows XP (downloads latest drivers from Netgear website). I can sustain an 11 Mbps connection for about 100 feet (through a couple of walls and a floor), which meets my needs. My only complaint is that the signal strength isn't as good as my wife's laptop from the same location. This is probably because their laptop has an antenna built into the LCD screen that is much larger than Netgear's. Overall, this adapter has been great so far. I couldn't use a regular PCI card in my low profile PCI slot case, so a small USB device was a great alternative.
