I bought it because it has a small volume and a beautiful design. When it arrived I was surprised that it is very light which gives the impression that it is not very durable. I like the look and don't need anything more so I was ok because it's a bit cheaper. However, the whistle doesn't work at all. The first time I used it, I put the kettle on and left. A few minutes later I came back and the water was boiling but NO pipe. I decided not to return it and just be an adult and remember I have a kettle on the stove. So my caveats are: 1) Don't buy this if you want something that will last a while. That's not the quality level. 2) Don't buy this if you need a whistle. I suspect the quality isn't good enough to stay that way for long, even if you get one that whistles. 3) Buy this if you need something for a small space.
