Eh, i only give this 3 stars because it doesnt actually allow the "wings" to fold up at all like most of the other styles of this light do. they only go out horizontally and thus can only provide light straight down. while they do fold "inward" i dont really see any point in that or why anyone would ever fold them inward.but thats just me.that said, it is significantly brighter than a single lightbulb in the garage ceiling. I would however choose in the future one of the designs that allows for the light wings to fold upwards to allow the light to be more evenly dispersed along the walls vs just straight down. very disappointed in that regard as if you measure it on that, it actually puts out LESS light than a regular bulb (which shines upwards and outwards, vs just down)
