I bought this to let me know when the internal temp of meat and bread reaches the desired internal temp so I don't undercook or overcook them. At first the thermometer worked exactly as expected; I have been very happy with it and have taken good care of it, keeping it in its designated area and taking extra care not to kink the cord or put pressure on the connector or probe. But after 4-5 uses, the thermometer could no longer measure the temperature. I couldn't figure out what the problem was, but I'm guessing where the cable plugs into the device as it didn't seem very stable there at first. I was also disappointed that I couldn't find a way to contact the company. Spend a little more and get something reliable.
