Review on 🚲 SKUNKLOCK V2: Ultimate Bike U-Lock with Powerful Anti-Theft Chemicals by Dean Wildfang

Having lived in New York for almost ten years, I've always wanted a bike, but I've always been afraid of theft. After Corona, I didn't feel comfortable on the subway anymore, so I decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a nice, used (but expensive!) Diamondback. I wanted something heavy to protect my investment. The Skunklock definitely lives up to that - it's very durable. I live in a part of Brooklyn where there are lots of bikes and my lock is more secure than other locks. Thus, it is also visually a successful deterrent. Nobody is going to mess with my bike when it's parked next to other bikes with much thinner U-locks. It's also easy to lock and unlock at any angle. Because it's so heavy, it weighs more than most U-locks. Maybe around 5 or 6 pounds. This might be an issue for some, but it's a worthy compromise. I'm never worried about the safety of my bike and I think the Skunklock is a great investment. I recommend it to anyone worried about bike theft and fellow New Yorkers.
