Excellent fans. I refuse to use anything other than Arctic PWM fans in my builds. Not only is the Noctua significantly more expensive, it also looks worse (Arctic cables don't have sleeves unfortunately, so Noctua has something for them), not better. Arctic fans are always completely silent (when they crank up all you hear is the sound of airflow) and can actually perform slightly better than Noctua. I've had Noctua and Arctic fans and prefer Arctic for aesthetics, performance and cost. In addition, these fans are very well suited for water cooling. Of the many water-cooled builds I've used them on, they've kept my temps and noise levels very low. I currently have six of these 140s running at 60% on a 420mm radiator and they are almost inaudible (there is just a whisper of air movement). Arctic is a great company. They also make leading thermal compounds and gaskets, so it's no wonder their fans are just as excellent.
