Description of 🧊 ARCTIC F14 Silent - Ultra-Quiet 140mm Case Fan, Extra Quiet Motor, for Computers, Nearly Inaudible, Fan Speed: 800 RPM - Black/White

GREATER EFFICIENCY - LESS NOISE AT HIGHER AIRFLOW: At low fan speed, the motor noise is key, a motor developed in Germany with a new alloy/lubricant combination reduced friction and noise. INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Design of fan blades improves air flow and facilitates efficient ventilation, impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure. TWO WAY INSTALLATION: Blow warm air out of the case, draw cool air into your case. LONG SERVICE LIFE: The Fluid Dynamic Bearing comes with an oil capsule that avoids lubricant leakage, thus this bearing is as quiet as a sleeve bearing but comes with a higher service life. TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 800 RPM, Airflow: 46 CFM/78 m3/h (@ 800 RPM), Noise Level: 0.08 Sone (@ 800 RPM), Pin: 3-pin.

As best advertised in Fans & Cooling

I just received this product yesterday. It was delivered on time and is exactly what I expected based on the description. 140mm PWM case fan with 4-pin header, not 3-pin with 4-pin Molex. I had that too. Installation was easy, and although there were no arrows on the fan itself to indicate the direction of exhaust, there were on the box. This took the guesswork out and made installation easier. After the install I went into the BIOS just to check the fan noise at different speeds. I turned the…

Great fans with one caveat

F14 PWM PST COL Review Let me say upfront that I really like Arctic, I've used 3x F12 (no Silent series) in a HTPC I bought before a Year built, they work 100% and are good quiet fans. So when it FINALLY came time to upgrade my old X58/1366 system, I knew I wanted to go back to the arctic for my hull fans. LED fans are not interesting for me personally. However, I wanted the fans to look good and be reasonably priced, that wasn't a problem for me. So I bought 4 of them. Sometimes pictures can…

  • Great for outdoor activities

Not as quiet as I hoped

They're not very loud or anything, but not as quiet as I thought. I use 2 of these as suction fans on the front of my box, one straight into the case and blows the graphics card, the other blows 2 SATA 5.25 drives (with an empty slot in between) and 1 SS drive on the bottom of the box. I installed a power supply from below, which also feeds from below. I then have a 120mm fan coming out the top and another 120mm fan coming out the back top and I'm using the stock AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU cooler…

Amazing fans. I refuse anything other than .

Excellent fans. I refuse to use anything other than Arctic PWM fans in my builds. Not only is the Noctua significantly more expensive, it also looks worse (Arctic cables don't have sleeves unfortunately, so Noctua has something for them), not better. Arctic fans are always completely silent (when they crank up all you hear is the sound of airflow) and can actually perform slightly better than Noctua. I've had Noctua and Arctic fans and prefer Arctic for aesthetics, performance and cost. In…

Great for a high performance PC that stays on

These fans are the best I've tried. I recently bought an Antec P100 Silent case and wanted to replace the stock 120mm fan with two 140mm fans in the front. I love how these fans push their limits. When my computer is idle, they stop. If I overclock and run the CPU at 100% they can keep up and maintain a safe temperature. I even like that they are gray and don't have bright LEDs. They sit behind the front grill behind the door and the blades are good to see if I want to. And they are built to…

Love this fan in Computers & Accessories

I needed a very quiet fan to blow hot air out of the tube amp on my bookshelf. I have purchased 2 other USB powered fans from Revain, one described as Ultra Quiet and the other as Whisper Quiet. Both were loud enough to be heard over the music, which was pouring out of my speakers just loud enough for the audience to hear. In desperation, I thought about a computer case fan and bought one. It really is "super quiet". When I close the door and the air conditioning/heating is off, I can barely…

Garbage. Buy another brand!

Good: Comes with screws (although the screw holes in the case cracked when tightened). Technically works like a fan. Bad: Everything else! I bought 3 pin 1350rpm from these 3x140 and 4x120. The 120s are a lot louder than I'd like, but I have them on the speed controller so I can make it bearable (probably running them around 600 so they're barely running). Although 140s are loud and hum badly at any speed other than full speed. All 3 bought have bad vibration and I have to run them at full…
