Review on 🧊 ARCTIC F14 Silent - Ultra-Quiet 140mm Case Fan, Extra Quiet Motor, for Computers, Nearly Inaudible, Fan Speed: 800 RPM - Black/White by Brandon Havlicek

I needed a very quiet fan to blow hot air out of the tube amp on my bookshelf. I have purchased 2 other USB powered fans from Revain, one described as Ultra Quiet and the other as Whisper Quiet. Both were loud enough to be heard over the music, which was pouring out of my speakers just loud enough for the audience to hear. In desperation, I thought about a computer case fan and bought one. It really is "super quiet". When I close the door and the air conditioning/heating is off, I can barely hear it when I'm right next to him. As soon as there is something else going on in the room, any sound produced by this fan disappears. Not using it in a computer case I had to buy a 12v power supply but Revain sells them and they can drive two fans. I now have a fan that turns on when the radio is turned on and is inaudible even at low music volume. It's a good size (140mm) but perfect for my needs. I could buy a smaller one and mount it on the bottom shelf above my amp and put that to the side.
