Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Extech MN24-KIT Electrical Testing Kit by Chad Gomez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just received and unboxed

This is more than my trusty (and retired!) Meterman. Overall, the design looks pleasing. The wires are thick enough. A nice little "stand" on the case that allows you to tilt the meter for easier reading. Bare probe tips will not contact most US parallel blade outlets to read 110-120 VAC line voltage. I immediately trim off the excess insulation with a sharp razor blade. I don't know why they are sent this way. Possible Liability or Litigation? I do not know? Will we reach a point where manufacturers stop selling tools because of possible liability? IDKThe Extech is distributed by FLIR, which appears to be very keen on industrial sales of all types of gauges and instruments. I hope this bodes well for support if needed. I don't understand the bargain price of $6.30 for this counter, but I'm glad I grabbed it. Maybe it will be rolled up? I see the MN35 for sale on other sites for less than $30. Meterman went in my special zippered tool bag and Extech went on the workbench.
