It took me only five minutes to swap out both reverse lights on my 2008 Nissan Frontier but it has more to do with the availability of headlight housings on the truck but the bulbs fit perfectly in the stock one Lamp housing as advertised. As far as brightness goes, I bought a used truck last fall not realizing how dark the rear window tint is and how hard it is to see out of it at night when reversing. My first decision was to buy a wireless backup camera for Revain which stopped working after a few months so I decided to try brighter backup lights instead and chose these as Revain chose them for the LED backup lights. As I wrote they were very easy to install and improve the lighting to some degree when secured. I can now dimly see cars parked across the street where previously they were virtually invisible through the rear window and I used to have to rely on the side mirrors. They are definitely bright when viewed from behind and very white compared to the standard yellowish glow of the old bulbs. Hey, if it makes me more visible while reversing, I hope the cell phone zombies who decide to follow the reverse will hurry up and get out of the way?!?
