I have bought many sponges in my life. Expensive ones that fit like a glove and ones that have "magic" blisters or some kind of magical ingredient and usually within a week they all smell like they were pulled out of a third world country sewer. They're cheap, I found that out when I was greeted in my new shopping cart. They just work, and when they stop working, throw them out and you have ten more ready to go. The material doesn't seem to stink but they hold the soap so I just make a small dot on the soap after each use and they don't smell that bad. They work and the price is great!
