I bought a Rockville amp power kit Rockville says the amp should match the speakers perfectly. I even used a multimeter to make sure I wasn't pushing the speakers past RMS. Sounded good with the amp around 70% gain. At full volume they fall apart a bit. Click on a vole and it's clean. After setting up on 1ride, one speaker wheezed and severely distorted the sound. Others are still pretty clear after a few hours. Felt it was a good buy. Tried to make everything out of Rockville. If I'm disappointed should I return or buy more. I didn't strain them too much and even used a meter to make sure I wasn't overdoing it.
