Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great

Amazingly easy to use and get started with Audacity. The sound quality you get is exactly the same as what you hear on tape. I used a program called Spin It Again to clean up the band sounds and add some more bass and the tracks sound good. The CD quality is really unattainable, but I was very happy with how the songs turned out. Also, one of the cassettes I had to remove the songs from was about to spoil. I tried converting songs from this tape before using the auxiliary cable and on most radios the tape came out and got stuck in the cassette deck and I had to be very careful to get the tape out without tearing the tape or otherwise damaging it. the tape is forever unplayable. I bought this as a last resort. I put the same cassette in this cassette player and had no problems. The only problem is that the USB cable is so short that you have a cassette player right next to the USB port on your laptop or computer, or you have to get a longer USB port. Cable that fits into the cassette player slot. It can also be a little tricky figuring out exactly how to open the deck door and figuring out which direction to put the tape in to get the correct side of the tape. But once you understand that, everything will be fine. Apart from that, it has helped me to get old/rare tracks I picked up from the radio as a kid/teen that I can't buy anywhere (honestly searched and searched for years) on my iPhone with the rest of my music collection with satisfying sound quality. Absolutely worth the money.

  • Very good value for money
