Review on JBL Live Free NC Plus - True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling, Bluetooth, Microphone, Up to 21 Hours Battery Life, Wireless Charging (Blue) by Tina Brown

I always considered JBL to be one of the best brands out there until I heard these new headphones from them. First, the packaging organization was impressive, with each component packaged in its own box, and the bright orange charging cable was a nice touch. All the tech, like ambient noise and noise cancellation, worked as it should and connecting to my iPhone 8 was a breeze. All was going well until I put them in my ears to listen. I was appalled at the sound quality, literally no mids or lows just highs. You sound like you're hearing the tweeter through a tunnel. Even after trying to adjust the volume, they sounded bad. Another issue I had was that the control buttons on the sides of the headphones are so sensitive that trying to adjust them to my ears kept turning music on and off and turning on ambient listening. There are many better sounding headphones out there today that are a lot cheaper than these JBLs. I am sad to write this review as I have always been a fan of JBL but the truth is the truth.
