It keeps the temperature in my camper fridge more consistent. At the moment I've been working on a set of batteries for 26 days. I don't know how long they will last so we'll see. I read a lot of negative reviews about it but it works for me. I built my own switch (waterproof) into the unit so I don't have to remove the batteries to turn it off. This solves the problem of a weak battery door and switch rust on models with an integrated switch. Thanks to all the reviewers who pointed out the vulnerabilities to me so I can fix the device before I have a problem!
