It became easy for me to prepare salads and even more so to cut them. I use it not only for salads but also for general cooking. The fact that it has a strainer does it all in one. Toss in the vegetables you use throughout the day, rinse in the same bowl and finely chop both ends. Boom! Ready. It has a lip on the edge that's great for tomatoes or other food that might drip when you cut it. Cleaning was very easy as nothing was spilled. A good sized bowl for a perfect diet. Definitely recommend.
