Very well packaged and easy to assemble by one person. Everything you need to assemble the stool is included in the packaging, although it helps to have a soft-headed hammer to drive the black pegs covering the screw holes deeper. Excellent quality and durability. I believe they hold up to 220 pounds. The stools also have small white plastic bottom pads nailed to the bottom of each leg so I didn't need the pack of felt bottoms I bought. The color of the stools I received (black legs and oak seat) matches the picture and the seller's description. A warning, I ordered the wrong size and tried to cancel after about 5 minutes which failed. It's not a total loss because we're going to use them elsewhere. Please make sure you know what size you need before ordering. The 24" stool is designed for a countertop (36"). The 29 inch stool is designed for a ledge that extends about 5 to 6 inches beyond a regular countertop.
