Everything you need to assemble the stool is included in the packaging, although it helps to have a soft-headed hammer to drive the black pegs covering the screw holes deeper. Excellent quality and durability. I believe they hold up to 220 pounds. Bought these for home use - they were relatively easy to assemble. I assembled 2 of these in about 30 minutes. They felt very sturdy and I liked the curved seat. This made for a more comfortable riding position, and the wider/deeper seat base allowed for a more secure seat. We only had two issues with them: 1. They were too big for our current bar.
