I bought the exact same light up dog collar a few months ago and was in awe of its brightness walking my dog at night until he died and I have found that buying replacement batteries costs almost as much as buying a new collar. Then I stumbled across the same type of lighted collar that charges via USB that I didn't know existed before and ordered it straight away. I've been using it every night for a couple of weeks now and I'm happy with its performance. It glows bright orange, which is easily visible to others even for a block. I had about 1 week of long night walks with it before it needed charging and it charged easily and quickly. The collar still shines as brightly as when it was new. Every time I walk my dog in this collar I get stopped by dog parents who love it and want to know where to buy it, as well as people who think it's just adorable. I bought it for my dog's safety because I live in New York. Where street lamps and other lights are always on, even in the middle of the night, my dog is smaller and has poor vision. At night, people often pay no attention or are too busy on their phones to notice a dog walking by. Having this collar on my dog gives me a sense of security that others will definitely notice when we go for a night walk. The collar itself consists of a thick, clear, durable plastic tube with a small center piece that connects both ends of the tube and contains an on/off switch and a USB charging port. This is a one size fits all so first put it around your dog's neck and decide where you want to cut the hose to fit your dog and then cut it off. I was able to cut through thick tubing with regular scissors, although it takes a bit of effort (which I'm not complaining about as it means the material is strong). Being a one size fits all the width of the tube is a bit too big for smaller dogs (mine is about 15lbs with a small head and neck) which I didn't like at first because I should have preferred it that it was better suited to his size. . But it doesn't put too much strain on my dog's throat, and I understand that a larger tube means more light at night, so I'm ok with that now. The collar has 3 settings: always on, fast flashing and slow flashing. I use the always-on setting when we go. I used the slower blink setting when taking my dog on a bike ride and carried him in a dog backpack to get a better view of the cars. I wouldn't use the Blink setting for regular walks, but I would appreciate it when I was riding a bike with a dog on my back. In short, I've found this to be a bright, durable, and extremely useful safety tool for my dog, and I'd recommend it if that's what you're looking for.
