Unsuccessful for Child Chalkboard Use

I purchased this for my daughter to use on her chalkboard and at first I was excited as it worked beautifully and wrote easily. However, the disappointment came quickly as we tried to erase it. Normally, if I cannot erase with traditional methods I will use a magic eraser instead and guess what - even THAT wouldn’t work. For something that is water based I cannot fathom why it Is beyond stubborn to clean and they broke quite easily as well. All pieces have been returned to the box and are in a drawer somewhere.
