A few remarks - based on the price paid (24.21...main bill), overall I am satisfied. The pot holds 14 oz. (1-3/4 cups) water. This is a wide cup and the saucer is relatively deep. The handle of the cup touches the rim of the saucer slightly and disturbingly; prevents the cup from sitting completely flat, but there is only a slight wobble. With the weight of water plus a lot; In any case, I would only carry it with two hands. I wish there was a matching milk jug and sugar bowl set. Would I buy again for tea for two or as a gift. A quick soak in warm, soapy water will help remove the inevitable stickers easily and completely. Hand wash only and not suitable for microwave use. I heated the water in a pyrex measuring cup in the microwave as I don't have a kettle and heated exactly what was needed. You can use a quick snuggly fabric to keep the tea hotter longer, or fluff it up if you have it on hand. Enjoy!
