I have an Inspiron 17 5000 series laptop (5767); His charger started failing due to problems with the plug (into the computer). While I was concerned that it wasn't "genuine," I choked on the $52 price tag when I bought it from Dell. Anyway I just got this today and it's identical to what I got from Dell with the computer! My original charger didn't say "Dell" anywhere, and neither did this one. So far everything works great! If anything changes in the future I will come back and edit this review. In the meantime, everyone should be aware that Dell-supplied original chargers are notorious for being unreliable/prone to breakage when young. From what I've heard my 2 years with the original charger is almost a miracle as most others fail in less than half that time! Again, my laptop barely moves, so the connector isn't as worn as most would get.
