Bought because the height was perfect, there were 12 cups and the reviews were good. I disagree with the reviews. 1) Coffee is actually watery, no matter how strong my coffee is or how much of it I drink. 2) The overflow in the tank is set at 12,000001 cups - you cannot fill the pot BEFORE the 12 cup line. 3) The heating surface started to detach after the 3rd pot! I just used a soft-sided sponge to wipe, but it worked. Easy to use - the hour and minute buttons are great but the coffee is marginal compared to my previous coffee makers which cost less.
