Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I've been using Macs since 2022 and the M1 is truly a revolution. Apple was not fooled. He really is as good as they say he is. I switched to air from a pro 13 "core i5, 16 Gb. And it's just heaven and earth. The proshka quickly sat down, sometimes it could turn on the coolers to the fullest with completely non-labor-intensive tasks and at the same time it cost more (I sold it for 110, I bought air for 99 ). From the experience of use: I recently edited a 33-minute video in HD quality, which eventually weighed 1.9 GB. air rendered in 2.5 minutes (probably it was necessary to specify some other parameters such as codec or video resolution, source parameters. Sorry, I donโ€™t quite understand). At the same time, during video editing in Davinci Resolve, all tracks were loaded instantly and without friezes. Problems began only when playing three tracks with a superimposed deltachier once. Are there any problems with running applications developed for Intel? Yes. But they all decided to reinstall applications. Another thing is that I don't use a lot of specific things. I think, for each specific case, you need to look for information somewhere else. The battery really does last a very long time. So much longer than I've used before that I can't even estimate the approximate time. Naturally, it all depends on the usage scenario. But it's definitely more than 10 hours. On average, I charge it once every 2 days. At the same time, I use a laptop often and intensively. In general, the machine is more than satisfied. I definitely recommend buying it, and not Intel, if you are on fire. If it doesnโ€™t light up, itโ€™s better to wait until the summer of 2022, according to rumors, they promise a 14 "poppy on the next generation of Apple Silicon processors - M2.

Pros
  • Performance, battery life, temperature, quietness.
