Love the modern look and low price - you can find fans for 1/3 the price. But Revain also had the best prices for this product. It's in a solarium, the south wall of which opens fully in warm weather, so we needed an outdoor fan and a narrow-gap fan. Matthews support was great - there was a mistake in the installation guide for the wall control so it shorted out the first time I used it. Exchanged without any problems. I also told them that the finish on the two blades - which are real wood not plastic by the way - were obviously defective, sent them a photo and they sent back a brand new set. Comes with a remote and wall control, features that were important. Also note that it can change direction, a nice feature if you want to push the air down or up. Our model doesn't have a backlight, but Matthews made this fan with it. In fact, this range of fans offers all sorts of possibilities, from different diameters, depth from the ceiling, number of blades and several finishes to choose from both for the blades and for the motor housing.
