I bought ten pairs of connectors thought I wouldn't use them all but to my surprise I have two extra pairs left and will probably use them in the near future if I expand my solar panel. I took off a star because they didn't come with assembly instructions or tools. So if you get them, go to YouTube or the Internet and find out how they should be installed. Essentially, the female connector connects to the male connector and the connector connector to the female connector. It's a little tricky, but the socket doesn't fit the socket, so start with the socket. That being said, you should use these because you can connect panels in a serial array, in a parallel array, or a combination of both. Also, I didn't have a build tool, but I don't need it.
