I bought this item because a family member's home was robbed. I didn't need a big system or anything complex. That fits the bill. This system arrived on time and in excellent condition. Unpacking went without incident. I went through the manual and everything looked pretty easy. I installed the first camera in the back of the garage to monitor the house. Then I set up the monitor, followed the instructions and realized I forgot my micro SD card. I found an old 4GB in my desk drawer, installed it and turned it on. From my back office, I looked out over my backyard. That's all. Turn on and you're done. I was able to take the monitor with me to line up the next camera and reconnect it to power and there it was. The image on the monitor doesn't match the quality of the 1080 video, but I can clearly see the facial features at the front door. I then connected the monitor to the router with the included CAT5 cable. I downloaded the Sequero app to my iPad and iPhone and with simple instructions I can check my home from anywhere. I look forward to adding two more cameras later and will update when it's ready. I ended up recommending this system to my fire department for added security.
