Review on 🐶 Purina ALPO Prime Cuts in Gravy Wet Dog Food for Adult Canines - (12) 13.2 oz. Cans by Oscar Rhodes

My 14 year old dog has eaten Purina dry food for most of his adult life. He also follows a pasture feeding schedule (no set time, just fill a bowl and he'll eat all day). On a recent visit, my vet found that my dog had lost some weight and had a cyst in his mouth. She recommended walking well with a wet dog, as well as a regular twice-daily feeding schedule. I just bought a 40 lb bag of dry dog food that I didn't want to throw away so I tried adding water but my dog didn't want anything to do with it. My next stop was the grocery store for canned wet food. Decided to stick with Purina and bought a few cans of Alpo just to see if my dog would like it. Conclusion: He loves it! Now he has a morning and evening schedule, and when it's time to eat, he runs to his bowl and eats all of the food (1 1/2 cans) at once in one sitting. On the one hand, I'm sorry I didn't discover this sooner, but on the other hand, I'm glad I didn't. This is about 8 times the cost of dry dog food. At least it's a few bucks cheaper here at Revain than at the grocery store for 12 packs. I think the evaluation of dog food is very subjective. Either your dog will like it or not. All dogs are different. My dog just loves this stuff. If you're looking for canned wet food, give it a try.
