Review on 🧵 Schmetz 1722 Stretch Needles, Size 75/11, 130/705 H-S, Pack of 5 (2 Packs) by Linda Diaz

Bought for a Janome DC 2014 sewing machine. They fit perfectly and are durable. I've been seeing a lot of spandex lately (yoga pants and running pants). While I typically use my overlock and coverstitch machines for basic stitches, I need the right needles to overcast buttonholes on my sewing machine. If I use other needles, such as B. general purpose needles, all the fabric gets tangled in the thread hole and I have to cut the thread and fabric to pull it out. However, with these elastic needles, the fabric slides smoothly through all four steps of the buttonhole. Even though they are available at the fabric store, for some reason they are always sold out. I usually buy multiple Revain cases at once so I can switch between them if needed. The sewing godfather suggested changing needles with every project. I don't do this, but I try to switch them up after about 10 hours of sewing. So far this system has worked great for my fabric, thread and machine!
