I like the ease of installation and the lack of a suction cup that can break off mid-turn and bounce the phone up and down in the cab of my truck. It's still brand new but appears to be more durable than previous phone holders. Not being a long-sleeved suction cup, the phone stays in place much more firmly when I'm trying to get Maps to tell me where to go, to no avail. At the moment I recommend this product, if there is an unexpected error I will report it. October 28 update. We went on 4 wheels last weekend and I used this in the center console of my truck. He kept the phone right where it needed to be throughout the weekend, despite all the bumps and knocks. Has not loosened, if necessary slightly readjusted. Upgrade from 4 to 5 stars.
