Beautiful stoneware! Small chips can form around the edges of the slabs if not used or stored properly (never turn them upside down!). I find the black parts difficult to keep from looking dirty, I would prefer them to be a lighter color. Big mugs if you like a decent cup of tea. Plates are huge so watch your portions! The bowls are also a very good size, perfect for cereal but also suitable for soup or a decent sized bowl of pasta :) They were sent to New Zealand by the seller and all arrived in perfect condition.
