I have no idea where my 70's DiscWasher kit is and I was afraid I would never be able to replace it, especially after reading many reviews of other products online that seemed ineffective or worse , the vinyl was damaged. Then I saw GroveWasher and gave it a try. It worked just like my old DiscWasher! The only downside is that it doesn't come with that beautiful walnut base, but it can be purchased separately. And there's no plastic lid like the old DiscWasher. But I found a small clear plastic food container at Wally World that works perfectly! GrooveWasher really goes deep into the grooves of the record and removes dirt, you can hear the difference! And the G2 solution cleans well without ruining the vinyl like the alcohol-based cleaner that seems to be used in some other kits can.
