Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Highly Powerful Neodymium Countersunk Permanent Magnets by Mark Gilbert

Very strong magnets make skis great!

later Let me start this review by saying I bought them for a very unusual purpose and they worked great! I've been trying to build a shot ski for many years, but every time I try I run into problems. Most adhesives go bad and look tacky, except you can never remove the glass from the ski to clean it. So sticking goggles on skis is anything but ideal. Some handlebars use rubber grommets to attach shot glasses to the skis, but I had trouble finding an easy way to attach the grommets to the skis tight enough to hold shot glasses. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money trying to find a nice way to do it. Another method some people use is to drill large holes in the ski so the shot glasses go right through the ski. I don't like this method because I've seen ski goggles fall out and break and have you tried drilling through the ski? They have metal inside and making a hole big enough for a shot glass would require tools I don't have! So, being the innovative "young" party animal that I am, I bought these magnets along with some 2 ounces of stainless steel. spice cups! Most metal shot glasses contain too much nickel and won't stick to magnets, so you need to be careful when buying tumblers. Make sure they are magnetic! So far this has worked great! The magnets are very strong and hold the glasses in place. You can turn the whole ski upside down and shake it, and the glasses won't even move. You can also easily detach the lenses to clean them. PLUS, it looks very clean and professional! Why didn't anyone come up with this idea before?
