I really like the lamp EXCEPT the purpose I bought from this particular brand was because of the clock, temp and date. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK! The lamp is beautiful, light, decorative and very bright! I really appreciate all these things, but I'm very unhappy that the screen doesn't work! I don't want to complain because I think it's great in general, but if the main reason I chose it was because of this particular feature and now it doesn't work. The bottom line with online shopping is that I receive faulty products and this worries me because the consumer then has to replace and pay extra when they've spent their hard-earned money. I just want a working product that I paid for. *** ** You must pull out the paper to actually start the battery function for the timer, alarm and display to activate. I figured since the screen was already on, the "number" would be too. BUT IT IS NOT! PULL OUT THE PAPER! NOW I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER! AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
