I like the clean feel of my hair after using Perth, but in terms of thickening, the barber I go to to comb sees no difference. Perhaps the thickening accumulates over time. Hair looks good after use. I dry well with a little wave - and maybe the shampoo gives the *appearance* of thickening. This shampoo has two disadvantages. First, the bottle is huge. I wish Revain were better at stating the relative size of what they sell. It's hard to imagine a 25.4 ounce bottle. I think the benefit is that it lasts longer. The second disadvantage relates to the warning. Don't let it get in your eyes. It stings (Where are there "no more tears" when they're needed?) Maybe it's the caffeine. Apart from these two quirks I have nothing to complain about.
