This LTE surveillance camera works as described! First, the camera itself looks well made and doesn't feel cheap. It has everything you need in the box, including a microSD card. It is very easy to set up and use. You need to charge the battery manually before first use. It took a few hours, but that's to be expected. Be sure to charge the battery outside of the camera. This package contains a box with a security lock and a cable. They are very well made and make manipulations on the device considerably more difficult. If someone really wants it, they need special tools to get there. Once the battery is charged, you can complete the setup. The app guides you through everything and the app itself is very user-friendly. As this camera operates on LTE networks, a subscription is required to use it. There is a 7-day trial of the Elite Pack, which includes unlimited photos and up to 40 HD photos. When motion is detected, the camera sends a low-quality image to your phone - it typically takes 4 to 5 seconds to receive it. The quality of this image is poor by most standards, but you can still see what's going on. I have included some sample images of lower quality with this review. If you want to see the image in high resolution, you must request it. The next time you communicate with the camera, an HD photo will be sent (so you won't get an HD photo right away). I've also attached some example HD photos. The camera lens itself on this camera isn't bad for what it is. This isn't a very wide-angle lens, so be aware of that. The camera quality in HD photos is pretty good and the night vision works fine. My camera was installed about a week after writing this review and has been 100% charged ever since. The solar panel does a great job of keeping the camera running. She's been through rain, snow, frost and even warmer temperatures and has had no problem working in those conditions. All in all, this camera is not for everyone. This is great if you own a property and cannot get a Wi-Fi signal from other cameras. It's a bit pricey if you ask me, and then you have to buy a monthly subscription to keep it active. You can of course retrieve all the HD photos from the SD card if you want, but that would require navigating to the camera location to retrieve them, defeating the purpose of such a setup. Remember that this camera only takes photos, not videos. Although I find it a bit pricey I gave it 5 stars because it works as advertised and does its job well. It all depends on the user and the needs of the user. If you need something that you can just install and forget, this is it!
