Great for travel.

This carrycot is expensive, but it's a great alternative to pack and play. I use this when I stay at the family home. It is very comfortable and can be placed directly on the bed next to you. It can also be used for camping in a tent, a family picnic or just in the garden. It protects against insects and the sun. It offers plenty of shade for your little one and is very comfortable. It is easy to fold up and take with you, of course. It's lightweight and not super bulky.
