Thin rubber and narrow width.
These belts were purchased to replace worn or stretched belts in cassette decks. These belts are thin so they are easy to stretch when little torque is needed. They're also very narrow compared to the factory straps they need to replace. 2 to 3 straps are needed to match the width of the original. The end result is poor engagement with the drive wheel flywheel due to the small area of contact with the surface and the ease of its stretching.
