Easy enough to install from the back but running the black wire to the battery is another story, complicated and not clear. Since it was made for the 2016-17 Tacoma, you'd think they could specify where and how to route it and include fishing wire or a snorkel. It's unclear what the giant nut (looks like it will fit on the battery post) in the box is for. The instructions state that the black box ground wire should be attached to the "ground stud" in the driver's side tail light box, but there are no screws that size. this and reconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Inexplicably. After pressing the 'lock' and 'unlock' buttons on my keyless remote, everything returns to normal. I hope this solution is not temporary.
