This thing has become a real hit at my house where a lot of people use craft paper and draw. It's basically a simple product: around 20 sheets of beautiful paper, mostly deep but lovely purple-blue colours, and eight excellent markers, four of which are glitter gel (which look fantastic on dark paper). With the included instructions you can make small origami, but you can also do all sorts of creative crafts or simple drawings. Gel markers (or pens, I think) require some shaking and the right technique to get the ink flowing, but performance is excellent. Colors appear on light or dark paper, and if you're using regular drawing pens, you can use gel pens to add beautiful accents. They also work great with clothing. I've tagged some uniforms to identify the wearer and it looks professional, but if you do I recommend editing them on paper and then finishing them on your fabric. These gel pens shimmer. They're not exactly metallic and I like the subtle effect. The quality is very noticeable. The variety of paper is great. The cards look solid, mother-of-pearl sheets look very stylish. You will immediately have a lot of ideas! It was such a hit as a practice set that in a few days we went to the store to get more paper, which is a great sign to me. Sets like this often show you what you like. It's a great gift before a trip or when visiting a place where there isn't much to do. Quality comes before quantity and that's not for everyone. If you're hoping to draw for hours, grab some crayons and a large notepad. If you can pull it off and you're really good at it, grab this set and show off your results!
