Cheap materials - furniture accessories
Stainless steel outside yes - but not the bottom plate - cheap material aluminium, and yes - some aluminum alloys will rust depending on the alloy that aluminum part is made of - if you buy something that claims to be as "stainless" is advertised, everything must be rust-free, especially the bottom plate, which rusts first. Crap - do not buy
