A reviewer also noted that the brown is reddish with some black highlights. That's why I bought this particular group for my black Orient Capital. I wanted a leather strap color that I could wear with my burgundy, chilli, cordovan, and (sometimes) black shoes and matching straps. This color is perfect for my use. A little shinier than I would like, but very comfortable. Time will tell again. Durability.
