Review on πŸ“± Aduro Cell Phone Holsters for Samsung Galaxy S10: The Ultimate Protective Case with Belt-Clip & Built-in Kickstand by Jim Ledbetter

Not a bad solution but there are better ones

I don't think this is the best choice for a protective case and belt holster. I definitely love that there's a mechanism to hold the phone at an angle so you can watch videos or do a bit of face-timing, but that's a low-end factor for me. The case itself has few flaws: 1) The edge of the case barely protrudes over the phone's glass. I could see a hard, uneven surface like gravel in contact with the glass. My Speck Presidio has enough lip to hold the jar over most surfaces it may land on. 2) The back of the case, while slightly textured, is relatively slippery. It is difficult to hold on to when you move it in your hand while holding it with one hand. 3) The case is thin, hard polycarbonate, but there doesn't seem to be anything else to protect your phone. from the impact. And there are some thin parts of the case that might not hold up if you take out your phone frequently. Sliding the case in and out is a slower and more cumbersome way to get your phone out. And when I'm wearing an open shirt, sometimes when I put the phone back in, the shirt gets caught in the sleeve as the phone grabs part of the shirt on the way in. I prefer a spring clip phone case like the Encased models.

Pros
  • Excellent performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity
