I buy these pins for my three year old to wear on shirt collars and jackets to church. The rear clasp is of good quality, is a bolt and attaches more securely than pins with a swivel head clasp or safety pin clasp. They are unlikely to fall or injure the little ones who are carrying them. I think they are great for all ages and a great accessory for little boys considering girls have so many options with bows, jewellery, bags and hairstyles. This is great for helicopter enthusiasts, those who have worked as a lifeguard or nurse, the other half of a pilot, or a child. My 3 year old can be trusted not to put it in his mouth. He also likes to play with them like they are treasures because they shine. Lots of details. This is small and provides a good variety. I recommend.
