I am very glad I bought it! I originally bought for a half marathon that predicted heavy rain. I haven't used them for this, but I have used them several times at different events. I love these for Disney because they are easy to pack and very, very light which makes them less hot and sticky when carried. Also, I don't feel bad throwing them away after use. I don't like heavier ponchos because they feel so hot and sweaty in the Florida humidity - I'd rather just get wet. But this is a good intermediate option! I also found them useful for covering our son and his power chair when we got caught in the rain - so easy to leave it in the backpack in case it rains. The only negative, and it's small for me, is that they tear easily. What I like most about them is that they're light, so they tear easily, so I don't care. In addition, they work perfectly in our normal use. Sometimes when we reuse them, put them in a bag and take them out again, they tear.
